This video is another of the IS Raqqa Media Productions with purchased video graphics indicating some media graphics training. The complexity of some of the effects, the colour blending and sound quality are from a professional rig.
The video shows the Jordanian Pilot, Muath al-Kaseasbeh with some residual facial bruises, which are common in pilots who eject from planes. Moaz al-Kasasbeh sits and even without understanding what he says, the follow along graphics speak for him.
A possible time frame of when this video was made is possibly a week to ten days after the pilots capture in late December.
Lastly and perhaps the most shocking, aside from the pilots immolation, is the bounty of 100 Gold Dinar‘s that the Islamic State are offering for the death of “Crusader Pilots”.
It goes even further by showing a photograph of the intended victims and their geolocation via satellite images.
How this depth of detail is acquired should raise questions in itself.
One interesting point is that the “producer” is noted as Abu Hammam Najdi a Saudi citizen, Commander of the ‘Lion’s Den’ Front-Line Base Camp. Killed during an Ambush by the Croatian Military whilst traveling with three other Commanders from the Mujahideen Headquarters, Zenica, to the Lion’s Den Camp, Zavidovic. Zepce, 14 January 1995. Aged 24.
The video below is an interview with Professor Amin Saikal (ANU) not long after the media announcement of the videos release.
