Twenty minute video “Stay For the End Times” from Halab showing suicide VBIED’s and the over running of an outpost, but the video also contains some “before and after” scenes. Transitions are smooth in this production and the POV video game like reality turned up to maximum.
The videos depicts a dead infant in a staged pose for the video. The full injury is shown through a sweeping pan as the men stand motionless.
The nineteen minute video from Halab has a clear message to Erdogan, the Turkish President. Starting with the fire fight in Al-Bab which proceeds the final event, the immolation of two Turkish Soldiers. The video details the attack showing the ATGM strikes against Leopard-2A4 MBT’s, 21st December in which sixteen Turkish soldiers were killed and thirty one injured. The video includes the now ubiquitous drone vision, as suicide bombers drive VBIED’s into the post, followed with ground vision of the aftermath from the counter strikes in retaliation from EuphratesShield. The dialogue spoken in Turkish, and delivered Daesh rant style, berating the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and calling for “destruction to be sown” in Turkey.
One of the men is believed to be Sefer Taş, who was abducted November 2015.
Turkey soon after the video release blocked the following social media platforms.
UPDATE – Turkey authorities have arrested thirty one people. (tribune.com)
UPDATE : Rumiyah 5 January 2017
John Cantle reappears on the internet through Amaq media reporting on the coalition bombing of Mosul and the money exchange in Raqqah. Aside from the obvious changes to Cantlie, and the missing orange prisoner garb, the dialogue revolves around the efforts of the Coalition forces to disrupt the Islamic State. With the same dramatic pathos of raising his arms summoning a drone attack in earlier releases (tangentcode), Cantlie takes the viewer on a guided tour of the bombing sites refering in the video to the April 2016 bombing of Mosul University which was targeted as part of action against a bomb making factory and the administrative controllers.
The bombing of the money changing offices in Raqqa was not just an indiscriminate bombing of a shopping centre, as Cantle describes it, the money exchange and forwarding services play a vital part in the day to day operations of Daesh, who are all about the money.
The site which Cantle stands in front of, drone camera buzzing, is the same site Daesh have used for public executions and other war crimes.
The reality of life in Raqqa can be seen in the last frames of the video, the drone turns and the viewer can see the armed, masked thugs who stands guard as Cantlie records. (The same armed thug that guard the executions and make the people attend.)
Video released through AlHayat media in May 2016 showing a ten day campaign to spread the dialogue of Islamic State through out the micro villages of the country side, much like the Cub Caravan and the Islamic State orphanage outreach from previous releases. The twenty four minute production is complete with aerial aspects with audio nicely mixed, the men with guns are well hidden, and the locals do the testimonials like professional actors. This content has been released in time for a recruitment drive to regain the ground lost to Coalition forces in the late part of March 2016.
“The courses in this campaign have tended to about 70 thousand cubs.”
“with Allah’s grace, by using a single motorcycle, we destroy your project”
‘We are all the Islamic State, so let the entire world know that!“

Below – “Infographic” – becoming a popular way to share through social media. The other format is translated “interviews” which appear in jpeg format in wordpress posts.
Another video appears with John Cantlie scrambling through the ruins of Halab. Cantlie goes to great lengths throughout the video to show how normal life is in the besieged area. He takes the viewer to a Sharia Law Court, or at least that’s what he says, or is it a public waiting room for an optometrist?
I’m not exactly sure what Cantlie thinks he is conveying but in reality he is doing more harm than good.
One interesting point is that he describes this video as the last in a series…what that could mean who knows?
The video lacks some of the sophistication seen in previous videos, such as colour correction details. However the same purchased transition kits gets a working out at an attempt to make a silk purse from a sow’s ear.
The ubiquitous White Helmets skulk about, loitering like pick-pockets up to no good…
